Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone! I am starting a thread for those applying to SCTC's ASN program for Spring 2021! I submitted my application on 8/3 and have a 3.42 GPA and an 82.7 on the TEAS. Previous year students, do I have a good chance of getting in with 424.7 points?

So my GPA is 3.5 ? Thank you so much for helped me to calculate it.... Whats your status ? GPA ? TEAS and Points ? Which are the campuses that SCTC offer the Nursing Program ? I heard it was two Campuses but I Don't know which ones are those...

@katie87 this is my only option too! I hope we both get in. I'm aiming for the henry campus since that's closest to where I live. Do you know how early they're going to mail acceptance letters? Or will they be emailed?

I’m closer to the Henry campus as well, but I will be happy at either location! My advisor said they will start notifying people mid September but she didn’t say if it was by email or letter. I did see on a thread for the 2020 cohort that they email theirs.

You did good congratulations ?

@Nick-FutureNurse you did great! Add 75 to your GPA*100 and you have 427 points! I've seen people get in from previous years with like 418 points, I think we all have a good shot of getting in.

Anyone know how many people applied so far?

No I do not but they updated the sheet and 187 applied last Spring. Can’t believe they only take 30. I’m applying to the PN program instead because I don’t have the second psychology class.

I'm so nervous after seeing the updates scores for the Spring 2020 class!! It says they only took 30 students.. does that mean they only take 15 per campus?? I applied for either campus to hopefully up my chances of getting in.

They took 30 at the Henry Campus & 20 more after opening a program at the Flint River campus! Hopefully they do the same this time around!

I’m so glad you created this thread LOL I’ve been going to the 2020 thread hoping for new updates! You have an amazing score I applied Sunday I have a 3.76 GPA & I made a 70 on my TEAS. Hopefully I did well enough to make the cuts.
