I'm currently a LPN student at Northwest Community College in Senatobia, MS. I live in Olive Branch, MS. This is my first time on this site and I just wanted to say Hi. Any advice from former LPN students would be great. I graduate in July of this year.

I live in Southaven too. I didn't get into the ADN program but I will be starting the LPN program in August(In Senatobia). Even though it's not what I originally wanted I'm thankful for the chance to start learning.

hi, i lived in southaven for 17 years before moving to lakeland, tn this past april. i loved it and still have lots of family/friends there. the move was to get closer to my sister and her family. i graduated 7 years ago and have nursed full time for 4 of those. i currently work in l&d at the med (2 years). love it. wouldn't want to do anything else, anywhere else. are you an rn, lpn, nursing student or wanna-be? do you work in a hospital, clinic or doctors office?

What is the starting pay for a new grad in this area? I am sure a lot of new nurses probably high tail it to memphis to work since it is rather close. I went to southhaven during the many hurricanes last yr and I liked the area.
