South College CRNA 2024

Nursing Students SRNA

Updated:   Published

I didn't see a thread made yet so figured I would start one. Has anyone heard anything back yet about interviews for South College? Being rolling admissions, I do not know when they will start or if they have already started going through applications. Really hoping for an interview ??

Any specific advice on the interview process? I received my invitation from South to interview for the 2025 start date today. I am so nervous and so overwhelmed by what to prepare for. There are so many different things I have read to study for these interviews so I feel all over the place.

I would brush up on your CCRN topics. It will be ICU knowledge you'll get interviewed on in the clinical portion. Remember they want to know that you can finish 3 years of anesthesia school

I wanted to extend a sincere thank you for all the invaluable advice you provided to help me prepare for my interview. Your insights were incredibly helpful and played a significant role in getting me ready for the big day. Your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences is greatly appreciated.

That's awesome! Rest assured, the faculty are kind and want to know that you can finish this demanding program. It's okay to be nervous, but how you conduct yourself under pressure is also part of the interview process. Good luck!

For those that got in did they go off the city you put first for your placement?  Or what number city was it in your ranking? I'm regretting the order I chose for clinical sites and wondering how the process works or if it's just by availability

Hey,

they attempt to place you at the highest priority on your list but it isn't always possible due to availability. My initial site was my second choice. If they add additional sites during the term they may ask if you want to rearrange your list for allocation but it's not always 100%.
