Has anyone else applied to USA for Summer 2015 MSN programs??

Specializes in Psychiatric and emergency nursing.
If so I'm not opening until the 8th lol. My anniversary is the 7th and I don't want bad news.

Does anyone know what exactly they look for? Is it mostly GPA? how many do they accept?

It almost has to be strictly GPA and work experience. There were no personal statement or personal references required.

So, another week has come & gone so I'm thinking the 7th as it was last year will be our day of letters. Hope everyone gets the good news they're hoping for

It's mostly years of experience as a nurse they look for - going by most of the posts. How much committee and leadership work you've participated in, certifications etc. The GPA thing is haphazard. I've seen some get in with 3.7 and others at 2.9. I don't think it's all GPA. If it's above 3.0 that's a plus.

I certainly hope they go by experience and GPA. Ive been a nurse for 16 years. I got my ADN in 1999 with a 3.3 GPA and completed by BSN in 2013 with a 3.9 GPA. I've also seen people with a 2.9 get accepted. I'm just ready to know one way or another. This wait has been horrible.

It's horrible and ridiculous because they do not communicate with you AT ALL.

I also applied to the BSN-DNP program. That division seems to be much better with communicating with prospective students.

I called for my first time and the lady was super nice. She said the letters will be mailed tomorrow and apologized for the wait. Said they ran into some issues last week when they were supposed to go out. So let's see if she knows what she's talking about.

Oh my! It's getting real. Usually I get mail from Mobile the next day since I live so close. Hopefully I will know something Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. This is it y'all! This is what we've been waiting for!

Anyone have any updates on getting anything like forms to fill out or access to Jagmail, or anything that might be early (cheat) indicators of acceptance? Or has everyone been as in the dark as I have up until this point?
