Sorry..help with resume

Nurses General Nursing

I know I am probably in the wrong section, but I need help. I just graduated LPN school June 29th and I am trying to make a resume. I have no experience in the medical field with the exception of my clinical rotations. On the resume the first section is summary of qualifications/professional summary. Since I don't have any experience what would I put here? I am sorry if this is in the wrong place..I am just needing some help.

I'm in a similar situation as you are. If you've done anything relating to customer service it is good since it shows you can interact with people. Those of us without a lot of clinical experience outside of school have to think out of the box as to what could be relevant to what you are applying for. If you need more you can also think about volunteering for nursing related experience as well.

okay, so i don't know if this will be helpful at all to you since i'm a CNA but I've been trying to get a job in the field too so i've sought out the HR dept at my hospital for some resume "guidance" and i 've asked a nurse admin (used to work as staff nurse so she's seen both sides of hiring process) to give it a lookover...this is how my resume came out when i followed the advice that was given to me.

sidenote: they both made it very clear that nurse managers look more for tactful/to the point info than pretty, "flowery" appearance and language. be up front in your objective/mission. hope this helps you? and i don't know how this format will turn out since i copied and pasted so here goes nothin'...
