Sophmore in high-school

Published

Hi everyone,

Im in 10th grade and I take biology, geometry, economics and cp english. Im also in anursing program at school, next year I can be certified as a CNA. Im usually a good student, As and Bs but on my report card I made a 75C in geometry. I had a 62F and in 3 weeks brought it up to a 75. Other than that Ive always been on the honor-roll. I want to become an RN. My dream college to go to is Vanderbilt. I think Im going to start off and go to Valdosta State University and take my core classes and then transfer over to Vandy. I enjoy my nursing class so much. Ive always had an A in it. Ive been ceritifed to give CPR to infants, children and adults. Im just trying to keep my grades up. Geometry is hard and I know you wont use it in nursing but that doesnt mean I can just barely pass because its not useful. I also dont enjoy economics. That stuff goes in one ear and out the other. Its like another language. Im trying my best in school. Im just so afraid that the C in geometry messed up my gpa. In my graduating class of 2008 there are 388 students and out of those 388 students im number 52.

i'm a freshman college student, and i've always been interested in nursing. i've been taking college classes since my junior year. that way, i earned college credits while earning credits in high school as well. ask your high school counselor about run-start program so you can start college early, and finish college soon... :)
