I have applied for the adn program at jcjc for the fall semster....I should get a letter next month telling whether I get in or on the waiting list....but I just cant wait. I was wondering what yalls opinion is.....I am in my second semester taking all my basics.Ive taken all my classes except for micro, speech, and psychology...I have a 4.0..right now and I made an 18 on ACT....the only downfall is that I didnt graduate high school...I dropped out and got my GED....oh and im also already on the waiting list. which helps...so what do you think...do you think I will get in or get put on the waiting list AGAIN???

I'm not familiar with jcjc so I can't comment directly. I just wanted to wish you luck. Your 4.0 now should look really good!
Thank you I guess I will just have to wait it out..

So I assume you've taken A&P 1 and 2? If so, and you have a 4.0 than that's a big plus for you. I'm at PRCC and they go by a point system for getting in. Most points come from your GPA and ACT score. So the 18 may have been the thing holding you back but if you've taken most of the pre- and correquisites since last applying, than I think that's going to make you look good. It shows you can handle college work well. Advice: If you get in for the fall, take micro during the summer. It's a tough course to take along with nursing classes and is usually easier during the summer. Only take easy courses during the year, you need to devote your time to the nursing courses. GL and I HTH!!
I hope that it will all be good enough..i have already enrolled in micro for the summer i definately want to get that out of the way...but ive only got a few weeks left of waiting so i will know pretty soon. thanks for the reply and advice.
