hi everyone,
i just wanted to share how i prepared for the nclex pn. i got info from various places but what helped the most was putting it in my own words so that i can understand. i tested 12/5 at 8am and i have to tell you don't put yourself through all that worry. just try your hardest to relax, stay focus, read every word in the question and answer choices and take your time. i put myself through so much unnecessary stress that it was unreal so i said i would write to everyone and tell them try not to stress, have faith, and patience. i truly hope that this info will help someone out there. remember focus, determination, patience, and prayer will always overcome nclex. god bless and take care. now it is time for me to find a j o b!!!!!!!! (if anything is incorrect, misleading, or confusing plz feel free to contact me or correct it as i am not perfect just trying to help in any way that i can).
steps that helped:
reword the question in your own words and if the answer choices does not answer your reworded question move onto another choice.
read every word of the question and the answer choices.
eliminate what you know is wrong and elimate before selecting your answer.
look for clues in the answer choices to help if you don't have a clue as to what is being asked in the stem.
if communication question, eliminate answer with yes or no response by pt.
if growth and development questions think of the age of pt to answer. for example, if question is abt 6 month old, think of what a six month old can't and can do at that stage.
