Some experience, but not enough!

I have been looking for work without much success. There are a lot of agency job openings, but with the type of experience and the years experience has limited me. I would like something more stable then agency. Please help me figure out how to better search or if you know of any positions , please pm me. I live in Southern Colorado. Thanks everyone.

Be careful of the 'agency job openings' oftentimes they really don't exist. If you read thru other postings on the CO forum (and other states) you will see that other new RN's are also having problems finding employment, which i did also living in Northern CO.

What type of nursing have you done in the past? How much experience do you have?

My advice is to call a HR department at a place where you want to work and feel them out on what would be appropriate for you skill and experience level.

I would love to get a hospital job in Colorado Springs. I am a RN-BSN with some experience, and the few jobs that get posted here in hospitals are filled with more experienced nurses.
