If you are a Healthcare Business you really do need to have a well understood Social Media Policy in place. As far as what information to post ( content strategy) and where ( Social Media Channel Selection)...that depends on the needs/preferences of your Target Audience. Hope that helps.

LOVE the question! I feel as though you are your own Brand before your first job, you are hired based on how you present your Brand. Social Media provides great Brand building opportunities. In this time of Value Based Care, all of us should be working on building our body of work. As a Nurse, it is a great way to find real-time peer reviewed journals + experts at the time I need it...offline relationships have happened there too...As an Introvert it is an awesome way for me to find and then take professional relationships off line in a systematic way. I was just offered a Guest blogging opportunity from a company :). So for me starting to teach others how to use this platform in a similar was not that much of a leap.
