So what program in the la area has the shortest rn-bsn program

I'm kinda impatient and want to get into nursing school asap. Problem is, I am qualified for ADN programs this June but I want to be an NP eventually, so I figure ill do the extra classes to apply to CSULA, CSULB, and CSUSB BSN programs and get all of it done w/o doing a bridge. I don't know what to do, plus the fact is I am hearing that CA hospitals aren't hiring any new grad let alone anyone w/o a BSN at least!

So any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe any experience with such programs?

Thanks for the info

There are still hospitals hiring new grad ADNs, honestly

even though it is a tough competition, but I personally heard from two directors from two different hospitals telling me they are hiring new ADns.

One hospital is even looking for capable ADNs in ER and ICU

of course they are not really fancy hospitals, but if you do great in your clinicals in ADN program, you still have a shot.

However, If your grades are good, I honestly think it may be good to go straight for your BSN with a school that you are planning to get your MSN with.

You build a connection with the school faculty and it gives a upper hand during your MSN.

Not to mention, it is less time consuming and stressful in the future.

The nursing programs are getting more impacted in every school. You don't know how hard it would be in two years to get into a bridge program after ADN. You should get yourself into the school of your choice right away if you can.

Thats my opinion :)
