You are right, everyone will be different. My friend and I met through EC after our 3rd exam, we were part of a study group then when the group broke up we continued studying together, we completed the rest of the theory exams & FCCA together, she took her CPNE before me and passed on the 1st attempt, she is currently studing for her NCLEX-RN. After relocating due to my husband's job, I had to pause. I have been studying the CPNE study guide and recently submitted for my CPNE date.
I took fcca in may-july. Went to georgia for cpne prep in sept. took actual cpne in oct , passed. Then took a break for holidays xmas new years . Got authorization to test for nclex in january , had my rn degree in my hand first week in feb. just keep on track. You can do it!
Hi aaprimetime, so you practiced for a month? Did you use Sheri Taylor's workshop?

How in the world did you get a CPNE date so fast?! Did you do a cancellation? Congrats. I'll hope you will let us know when you officially get your RN. It is a little on the discouraging side that I have heard of no one who has received their RN since the new FCCA format went into effect. Do you have a date for the NCLEX yet?
Congrats and thanks for the encouragement.

When did y'all take the FCCA? Good luck on the CPNE!

I am curious as to where those who passed the new FCCA format are in the program. Has anyone that has taken the new format actually gotten their RN yet? If so, when did you take the FCCA and how long after did it take you to sit for your RN? I'd love to get a general idea of how long from FCCA to RN. I know it will vary, but a sampling should be informative. Also feel free to sound off as to what point you are, even if you haven't gotten your RN yet (I figure most will be "waiting for CPNE date"). Thanks and congrats for making it so far!
