So Nervous...Going to take the LPN-RN entrance exam Thursday...

Rio Grande University called me today about taking it. I and 3 others were on the "alternate" list. I am so nervous! I have no clue as to what to look over before Thursday!!!

Good Luck to You !!! I'm not sure what your school is doing as far as testing. We had to take the NLN Mobility exam only. This entailed fundamentals of nursing and was not hard at all. I was very nervous also, but took the exam and was accepted within 2 weeks.

Take your time on the exam. Focus and don't get distracted by anyone or anything else going on around you. You'll be OK

Found out that is what I am taking! Oh for the love of god, don't ask me any questions on Resp/metabolic Acidosis/alkalosis....I would be sooo screwed! lol

Nothing like that was on the test. It was just basic, common sense nursing...I was terrified before I took it and read thru a couple of med surg books, peds, and OB texts...found out I didn't need to. I hadn't worked in a hospital for many, many years and aced the test. You will too !!!

It was easier than I thought it would be. I think that I'll do okay on it.

I'll know in 2 wks and for sure if I am in the program by mid-November!
