So many reviews and all different scores!

I'm just sort of at a loss. I'm feeling so overwhelmed right now. :banghead: So I took the ATI predictor for school and it said I had a 97% chance of passing the test. I was so happy! :D

Of course I didn't stop studying. I bought Saunders, a Kaplan book, and a 3wk learning extension prep course. But its so frustrating. My scores on the practice tests range from 60%'s - 75%'s. I use test taking strategy for each question. I've done at least 2000 questions so far. It just feels like theres so much to know and that test taking strategy only works for a few questions not alot because alot are sheer comprehension, you need to know every little tiny bit of the material.

I take the test Sept. 23rd. My question is are all the test questions in these reviews at the passing level? If so I feel a bit better. Any comments, suggestions from anyone? Anyone think the review questions are harder than the actual test?

You are experiencing NCLEX study overload. Slow down for a day and relax. It actually will refresh your mind and help you more in the long run. The question is, do you feel ready? Forget the scores, forget the reveiws, and everything else, now, do you feel ready? That is all that matters. Keep reveiwing and read the random facts thread. Stay positive and reveiw rationals to the questions, make sure you understand the rationals well.

Remember, this is only a test. :wink2: Say to yourself everyday, " I can do this ". You made it through a nursing program and graduated. You can, you will do this. Good Luck!!!:D

Thanks so much. I know that they don't expect me to know everything its just the pressure of needing to pass the first time. I have my dream job with this interim license and I just don't want to lose it.

I was in the exact same boat. What a coincidence. Like I said, take a mental break. The Random Facts Sticky is also a good idea to go over too. You can also get questions answered. Lots of stuff is repeated but, somehow reading the same stuff rewritten differently helps make it stick. Good luck.:D
