I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear if I have been accepted into the LPN program here. It was suppose to start in January but instead will start this August. I was told to expect an answer this week or next week and everyday since Monday I have been nervously checking my mail box. By the way, I took the Pax pre-admission exam and scored 143. I have been told it was a really good score but I cannot get comfortable until I get that acceptance letter in my hand. I can't even let my mind think "what if I get rejected?"
What are the odds that I won't get accepted with my score? I know they look at various things...I have taken all prerequisites and passed them the first time but still....

So before i clicked on your thread it says "So anxious! What are the odds that I won't get accepted with a NLN Pax score of 1"
I was thinking that it's not looking in your favor!
Sorry I have nothing else to say exept good luck!
I didn't know it showed like that, sorry, lol!

That's a very good score! To answer your question, it depends on the scores of the rest of the applicant pool, as well as how much the score is weighted in the admission's process.
I know that at my school, an applicant with a lower PAX score but straight A's in all the pre- and co-req courses (8 of them?) will be stronger during admissions than a student with a high PAX score and a C in one completed course.
