Smoking

Should hospital staff be allowed to smoke on campus, when patients are not allowed to?

Our hospital has recently gone smoke free but even before that, employees were not allowed to smoke on campus. But now Ohio is smoke free state.

I am a student nurse so I don't feel like it my place to say anything about the smoking policy but I do feel that it is very unprofessional. I don't have anything against smokers, it's their choice, but at least chew some gum or put on some lightly sented perfume to cover up the smoke smell.
