Smoke Evacuator

Looking for suggestions on a way to improve our system. Our smoke evacuation system is from Skytron and works well from the boom unit but is almost useless when the connection is made up to the bovie. Any ideas or hints on what has worked for you and your facility?

Im having a hard time visualizing the system. Can they just use regular suction for the smoke plume??? We only use the smoke evacuator when we have a CO2 laser for warts and etc, otherwise its the regularsuction. We have the Neptune Rover systems that are both suction and evacuator with the addition of a filter and turning the knob.
