SLU questions....

Hi, I applied for St Louis Univ ACNP program. Their deadline was Nov 1 for Spring entry...My questions is this, does anyone know how long it will be before I hear from them??? I'm just dying! I know, I know, it's only been 12 days, probably more like a month, but you know how it is !!!!

I would just call and check. They usually rarely turn anyone down if you have all yuor information in.

From the minute I submitted the application online until the last transcript arrived, I got weekly emails from SLU telling me what they were waiting to receive. Once the file was complete, I started getting different emails about how to make my computer compatible, where to get info, etc. The actual 'acceptance' letters came slightly after that. Now I am waiting for a call back from my assigned advisor so I can set a plan for the classes and get started on the scary part - financial aid! Since I live in the St. Louis area, I may get my ID card on campus, do the fingerprinting, etc. and take a look around while I am there. If I pick up any good info, I will happy share. There is also an Open House but I don't think I will go -- I imagine it is geared more to the BSN program.

I just met a SLU ACNP student at my hospital who is just a few short weeks from graduating. She is so happy with the program! She was pressed for time so I didn't get all the details that I might have wanted but she took my email address with the promise to share more when the semester is over. The smile on her face was inspiring!

Gosh, That would be nice, I haven't received anything from them. Actual application to graduate school was done in july and got the rest of the info to them the last of October. I'm a huge procrastinator :D... So I'll call and see whats up! Thanks guys!

I just got off the phone with my advisor and I am now OFFICIALLY enrolled in my first semester of classes! :yeah:

If everything goes according to the plan, I will graduate Dec '11!
