Slow forum! Anyone have any experience with St. Joe's?

I have an interview with them next week for an externship. Anyone else do an externship with them? What do you think my chances are of getting one in OB? The recruiter lady sounded very positive that I could get a position there, but it's been my experience that recruiters often say what they think you want to hear.

I am doing a travel contract with St Joe's in Tucson, but I understand there is a St Joe's in Phoenix as well. Which one are you interested in?

The one in Phoenix. I didn't know there was one in Tucson too!

But if you come to Tucson, you would like St Joe's! It's busy, but they work hard to staff adequately, and has a supportive atmosphere.

No advice, sorry. But do post next week and let us know what she says! I'd love to hear more about your experience. What exactly is an externship?

Anyone catch the DiscH special on the ER at good sam? It was great!

I did a rotation in the NICU at St. Joe's and I loved it! All of the nurses were fun and really helpful. I toured the OB floors and watched a couple of c-sections and lady partsl births. The nurses on those floors were great as well. It would be a great place to work!
