I am so confused, what will i do?

i have applied last march 2012 for the pre-employment training of SLMC but i was not contacted thereafter, i assumed that i failed the exam and did not bother about my application. last April 24 i received a SMS inviting me for their PGNT that will be starting on May7. I failed to come for the orientation because of some personal reason, but i visited the HR to know if there's still a slot because i was eager to join.. the HR answered me that they no longer have any orientation of the MAy7 batch, next batch will be on june but no guarantee if i will be included... so i went home thinking no chance at all. btw, i am from iloilo and i already have my applications there and will be starting my volunteer service on that same date MAy7. Just this AM i received a SMS from their HR, telling me there is still a slot for the PGNT training (maybe some of those who attended their orientation did not pursue it bcoz of the training fee so there were slots available). I AM SO CONFUSED... will i go there and pursue the training although i only have less than a week preparation or just go home to iloilo and attend my orientation for volunteer service on MAy7?? pls help. :uhoh21:

hi JErichoLastrilla,

when did you pass your application? Thanks!

this was already unexpected to me as i have passed my application i think a year ago 3x already. according to the HR who interviewed us, it's PGNT - 3 month training with a fee but not an assurance for deployment. we had a series of exam mostly psych test and the preliminary interview. after which, our applications will be forwarded to the 3 divisions: nursing division, ER and ancillary services and they will see which applicant fits in the said divisions. ms. J (HR) told us to open our lines for the possible panel interview by february as the PGNT might commence probably by March 2014.

honestly im quite confused right now because im almost done with my RN residency program in afpmc. i also wanna know the insights of those who have undergone PGNT before. thanks guys!

we have undergone the same process, anyway, i'm hoping that they would really contact us.

have you received any text message from them JErichoLastrilla lately?

they're supposed to schedule you for the interview right away after taking the psych test. after the interview, they will tell you that they'll be contacting you for the panel interview.

hi! haven't receive any texts from them, hehe. how about you? are you scheduled for an interview already?

Any news for panel interview?

we just had our panel interview and all of us in the batch for that day made it to the training. batch 1 for this year will commence on feb.17, 2014.

May I know where exactly did you pass your application documents? Is it in the pigeon box located near the HR office? My friends and I bumped (not literally) into a nurse there and he informed us to go to DCA (Department of Clinical Advancement-am I correct?) and asked for a stub. When we got in there, a nurse informed us that they are not accepting the actual documents but instead handed us the stub which contains the list of requirements and said that we may send it via email. May I know if this is true and do you guys have any idea when are they going to contact applicants for the next batch? :)
