I have recently started working with a school of practical nursing doing fundamentals and a skills lab 2Xweek for 3 hours each lab.
I am currently doing physical assessment (head-to-toes). Any suggestions for skills lab games or activities to keep the students engaged? Last week I had them do a head-to-toe on each other and write a narrative note. I feel like it would be boring to have them do the same thing each time. Any ideas to keep skills lab fresh and interesting?

What skills are they supposed to be learning?

Set up different stations in the lab, then you apply different scenarios to each station. Perhaps set up a case and different diagnosis at each one, written on an index card. Then they could write mock assessments related to the case.
