Hello all! I wanted to start this topic for anyone who may be applying for the Fall 2017 cohort at Skagit Valley College. I sent my application in a few weeks ago, so the waiting is killing me considering results do not come out until July! But, I am just wondering what you all are going in with and if there is any advise regarding this school and their acceptance requirements. Good luck to you all and I look forward to reading your posts!
Well, I got a letter, and apparently I'm an idiot. When I did my NAC, I applied for Nursing Assistant Registered and not Nursing Assistant Certified, so they did not consider my application. I know it's my mistake, but I feel like, really, i turned that application in in April, no one could have said something before the June 30th deadline?. Anyway, good luck to the rest of you, I will be applying again for spring quarter.
I got my acceptance letter last night and am beyond thrilled to finally get started. Smaimgomez I'm so sorry you didn't get in. This was the 4th program I applied to and the first offer of admission I've received. I also feel like I was rejected for stupid reasons as well, so I understand the frustration. Just keep going and it will happen!
I applied with a 97. I got a 95 on the TEAS. Also I applied 3 days before the deadline because the decision to apply to skagit came at the last minute for me. I took the teas on the 26th, it was super rushed. So since you have the luxury of time it might be worth showing your packet to an advisor before just to be sure. I was so nervous I forgot something during the entire waiting process.
