Sjsu fall 2013 hopefuls

Is there anyone here that is applying to the San Jose State University nursing program for Fall 2013?!

I'm actually not sure since I took a course at a community college. I'm inclined to say 10.75 or a little lower, as prior calculation put it at 10.68, though it's entirely possible I messed up unit conversion. Yours is 10.7, right? I have my fingers crossed for you!

Yeah! Thank you so much. I appreciate it. These last couple of days have definitely been stressful haha.

DId anyone get a phone call from them?? i got a phone call and they said my mail is going to be delayed or unsure, they said to wait till the 30th...someone know whats going on?

For those who are accepted and will be attending the program: have you submitted your request for a background check yet? I followed all the steps on the background check instructions. I've submitted and paid for my background check order.. but I'm confused - is that all I have to do? I'm not sure what to do with the release form. I've printed it out and signed it, but how do I send it to Creative Securities? I got an email that said this:

From the curriculum coordinator in our program concerning signing the release: "Yes, they need to sign the release or Creative Securities cannot run the check. The students are also responsible for having copies of the Background Check made to give in a sealed envelope to Instructors prn agency rules/regs in the future".

I was so confused about what to do with the release form as well. Thanks God they just sent us this email a minute ago

"I just talked to several people and this company forwarded somewhat incorrect information to us- we will remove it from the web site and beg forgiveness for making you all crazy-YOU DO NOT NEED A RELEASE FORM for them- You all just need to get the payment to Nursing ( mail or drop it off this week) for holding your spot in, with your reply forms (SIGNED and dated)- WE need these by May 1st so send it no later than THURS of by mail.... You eventually will get your background form in a sealed envelope, in the mail to you and you will keep this envelope for future semesters when you may need to provide this proof-- The required background check must be done with only this vendor-- WE get access to all of these findings electronically-- For those who are transferring to SJSU from elsewhere this Fall 2013, you only have until MAY 1st to tell the UNIV, either yes or no and pay their fee as well! [ and attend their mandatory transfer advising session! ]"

Did you get the email?

Also, I think it's only one page response form, right? I dont really know why she said "reply forms" in her email. Can someone correct me in this one?

@melygina I just got that email a couple hours ago. Definitely cleared up my confusion, phew! And yes, it's just a one-page response form. I dropped my response form and $75 check off at the nursing office today. =)

10.75, I was waitlisted last semester and then rejected. Now the same thing happens again. They won't tell me my waitlist number but it is "1-5" they say
