SJR State College 2015 Fall Hopefuls

Hello I'm starting this thread to reach out to potential applicants to the nursing program at SJR State College. My GPA puts me in Category 2 and the application period begins tomorrow and I will be there bright and early to turn in my application 😁

I still haven't received my acceptance or denial letter, is anyone else still waiting(impatiently lol)?

Yep, I'm still waiting. I see they're getting the category one's out the way first, then they'll move to category two. I hope the C-one's don't take all the spots lol

I don't think there are anywhere near that many category ones that apply. My finance is in the nursing program now and most in her class were in 2 or 3. Category one is basically guaranteed. Good luck today!

It just said that the program selection process was very competitive. I've been accepted into an Lpn program so I'm glad I didn't put all my eggs into one basket lol

I am currently in my second semester as well at the palatka campus! Are you in orange park?

Yup orange park campus , pharm is killing me but actually they both are lol 78 in pharmacology , 80 in adult health . These next few weeks til the semester is over is brutal , we have so much stuff every week .

I'm in the same situation! Have you guys heard anything about how summer semester will be? Or what the schedule will be like?

Summer is going to be hell, my professor already said it , summer is shorter so it's cramming 16 weeks of stuff into 12 weeks basically . He said it'll be worse , just have to really buckle down and no summer fun really :(
