Name across the back? Uh, no.
Funny saying? Uh, definitely no.
Sis may get a chuckle out of things like that but I guarantee you, she'd never, ever wear it.
Hospitals are professional environments and the cultures generally expect people to dress appropriately.

LOL, every year I ask my sister to get me a gift certificate to a scrubs store so I can pick out what I like!
It's sweet of you to want to get your sis something functional yet funky for work. Since you mentioned she has to wear the basic green hospital scrubs, I agree with the other posters that a monogrammed jacket would be a nice gift. See what color jacket (or lab coat) she can wear. I'd love my initials in pink embroidery on a white coat, but that's just me.
I think watches are a good gift. Because wearing a uniform 5 days a week is rather boring, it's nice to have a unique watch no one else has. Prestige Uniforms makes some cute, cheap watches for nurses. Many scrub stores have them.
I also saw a Simpson's bp cuff set that was super cute.
My local store has fake syringe pens that would be an ideal stocking stuffer.
Don't know if you sis has a certain ID holder she has to use at work, but there are some cool ID holders out there. Same for lanyards.
Lastly, while it may sound boring, socks! I could always use well-made, supportive socks for work. The cute ones with nursing symbols are also good gift ideas.
Hope this helps and good luck getting her gift!
