Single Parent, Relocation, Daycare?

Hello All,

I am planning on relocating out of state for my first NP job, but I am a single parent of two ages 2 and 5 years old. The job will be with a CVS working 3 weekdays one week, and 2 weekdays and both days of the weekend the next. Does anyone have any advice for finding daycares/childcare or moving in general...

    I have started to look. I realized that I need a more child friendly schedule, so I am looking for something either M-F or with some high flexibility.

    Have you thought of maybe a babysitter that can stay at your home and baby sit your kids. Like an au pair

    Hmmm. Never thought of that, but its an option for weekends. But during the week they really need social interaction.

    Hmmm that schedule would be really difficult to arrange childcare for. Daycares usually require you to have set days and very few are open weekends. Best of luck to you.
