Single New Graduate moving to East Orlando

So I got a GN internship in East Orlando. Super Excited! And now it is time to move. I live in Texas and have never been to Orlando before. My apartment hunting is mainly based on internet and craiglist. I really appreciate if anyone could give me some input or recommendation regarding which apartment complex is safe to rent (low crime, gated community, alarm system). I'm hoping to pay around $900/month for rent.

Signal Pointe, the Park at Cambridge, Sawgrass & Winter Park Oaks are all very nice (all depending on what you're looking for). Welcome to ORLANDO!!!! Congratulations on your internship!
