any single mother nursing students from Memphis?

I am going to be in Memphis with my two children come the Spring. I don't know anyone there, so I'm quite anxious. I know univ. of Memphis has childcare on campus, but it doesn't open until 7:30 am. I know clinicals start at 6:00 am sometimes and I won't have anywhere to take my kids that early. I need any information about daycare and elementary school hours. If there are any Univ. of Memphis students out there, speak up. :) Also, is there anyone who does not have clinicals in the morning and for twelve hours?

I guess no one's out there from Memphis. I found out today that I can get a childcare certificate in Memphis so I don't have that to worry about. Now on to filling out a housing application, or else I'll have to find an apartment.

So you are new to Memphis? Have you gotten accepted to University of Memphis yet? I go to Southwest Tn. community College, where I will get my ASN. I know several people at U of M. Maybe I can try to answer some of your questions. My son is also in childcare. If you have any questions just ask.

I'm not in Memphis yet; I have to move there in January. I am gonna be in Memphis on Oct. 28th for orientation/preregistration though. Yes I have been accepted and I'm very excited. Hey maybe you could show me around lol.
