Simmons University ABSN 2020

Hi! I am starting this forum to discuss the upcoming decisions that should be coming out in February for the Dix Scholars ABSN program at Simmons starting in September 2020. I know we have to get in to the program first but is anyone interested in taking the Pathophysiology class early (end of May)? I'm hoping they offer it.

I haven't heard anything yet! Hopefully within the next day or so! Will keep you all posted.

Definietly keep me updated! I reached out to my admission counselor asking for an estimate on when decisions would come out. I feel like tomorrow ahhh!! Do you use a portal? Hoping for the best with all of us! I just wanna know if we will find out via email first

I told myself if we didn't hear today, I would reach out to my admission counselor tomorrow. I didn't use a portal, I applied through the common app and then they (Simmons) confirmed that they received all my information and would be reviewing it (this was back in late December/early January). But I know what you mean! Last year it looks like decisions came through mail but this year looks like email. I just keep checking both LOL

Ohhh OK I gotcha!! It seems like its a good thing. I have a feeling they probably send out acceptances all at once. Maybe they do rejections before acceptances, because I know a lot of the time they post on social media about acceptances and to check the mail etc, so I cant imagine them doing that if they send out denials along with acceptances. Ugh! Wish we could just find out! I have never been so anxious! Ill let you know with wgt the counselor responds with!

Nope! I didn't  hear back from my admissions counselor either:/ hoping this is a good thing. Did you ever email?

She said that decisions were being finalized this past week and are hoping to be emailed (and mailed) out this upcoming week. Here's hoping!

I received an email last night that said they were trying to release decisions as soon as possible and hopefully within the next week!! And she said thank you for your patience. Really hoping for the best!
