Sigggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Still nothing

In February it will have been 5 years since my complaint to the nursing board. Endless interviews and re-hashing my story and still nothing. I am in Austin, Texas and there are literally no more jobs to apply for in a 75 mild radius. Have applied for job after job outside of nursing as well. I'm getting so upset and hopeless. My wedding is scheduled next month and we want to start trying for a baby over the honeymoon but I am afraid to get pregnant before I get a job because who would hire a pregnant person? I'm 33 next year so time is running out. :-(

Not to mention, I need the maternity coverage. I'm such a mess. Any pointers? Any support? Anyone know where to turn? I have all this nursing knowledge and it's useless now?

Further, my fiance is British and if I don't have a job making at least 21k a year I can't even sponsor him to get a green card. Time is running out.

I have been offered at least 10 jobs in the last 3 months but as soon as they read the board order they take it back. It is always HR but I have to wonder if the nurse managers are playing a part in it as well.

Try a doctors office offer to work as an RN for cna pay. Once those restrictions are lifted jobs will not be so hard to find. Also find your local caduceus meeting they are full of doctors who are in the program due to addition, make connections get to know them and see what happens.
