Sierra College 2025

Hello everyone!

I could not find a thread for those of us applying to the nursing program at Sierra College, so I started this one.

This will be my second attempt. I am also applying at ARC, Sac State, and Sac City. 

How is everyone feeling? Where are you applying and how many attempts is this for you?

I look forward to seeing all of the replies and having a place to ask questions.

I got alternate! Do you guys know how many alternates they selected last year?

Hi everyone! I also got an email!! Congratulations to everyone else as well! Just want to make sure, if you've gotten an acceptance email does yours say "Congratulations! You have been selected for entrance into the Sierra College Registered Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester.” Just want to make sure it's 100% an acceptance email and isn't an alternate email. Thank you guys ❤️

@Bailey Heartman Yes, my acceptance email says the same! I think it would specify if we were alternates. Congrats!!

Hey guys! I just want to let you know that I received an email from Sierrra's nursing department, letting me know that I was accepted as one of the 10 alternates on Friday, March 21st. Check your emails! Best of luck to you guys!

Did anyone that's accepted and submit the paperwork get any updates back regarding stuff we need to do before orientation?

@Koneill All I got back was a confirmation that they received my paperwork. Will update if I get any other emails

Just checking in again. Did anyone get a follow up after submitting the acceptance forms; other than confirmation that the received it. Just want to make sure I don't miss the 'assignments' they said may be posted before orientation.
