Sierra College - 2025

Hello everyone!

I could not find a thread for those of us applying to the nursing program at Sierra College, so I started this one.

This will be my second attempt. I am also applying at ARC, Sac State, and Sac City. 

How is everyone feeling? Where are you applying and how many attempts is this for you?

I look forward to seeing all of the replies and having a place to ask questions.

I sent the school a message and they told me we should find out in about 8 weeks after the deadline though... I saw a lot of people found out this month if they were admitted last year though.

Yeah when I checked the forum from last year a lot of people found out on the 13th. I'm so anxious to know already! Good luck to everyone 😃

Last year, my friend heard on March 13 that she got in.

Nope nothing yet. I'm so anxious to know already I check my email every 5 seconds LOL

Hahah! And this year I think they said they are only sending it to our Sierra emails. But, it occurred to me as I'm checking, I'm more likely to find out from this thread than from my email bcs chances are about 25% to get in based on 160 applicants? I'd like to know either way. Last year I didn't get into any schools, well waitlisted at Sac State, nor for the fall applications, and I was devastated both times.

I saw in the Fall 2024 thread they heard back on the 12th. I just wish they would send out an emails to everyone that applied, not just accepted/waitlisted🙄

Yes! And some of them do! Its better than waiting to hear from someone who did get in.
