Should Nurses Advocate for the Use of Dark Field Microscopy?

Hello, I am currently working in an outpatient setting. I work closely with the Chiropractor to treat various patients. Well, the doctor recently decided to try out a new kit that he ordered called " Dark Field Microscopy." I have read some negative things about it and I think that I may let him know. Before doing so, I'd like some second opinions. What do you think? If the doctor gets sued, I'm out of a job....

Does the chiropractor also sell dietary supplements? Dark field microscopy and "live blood analysis" is used as part of a fraudulent dietary supplement promotion scheme.

Do work for a chiropractor alone or a chiropractor and a doctor? Who is the "doctor" who might get sued?

I'll answer your original question with another answer, should someone who is legally required to advocate for their patients take part in the victimization of their patients?

As a nurse, I wouldn't work for a company involved in anything like live blood analysis. They're taking advantage of clients.

Thanks for the input so far. My main concern is that the actual procedure is obscure. What do you think?

I'm not sure that "obscure" really fully describes using 'live blood analysis' to sell nutritional supplements, it's probably better described as a scam that's well established to be fraudulent.
