Should I work as CNA if I'm not intending to stay once school begins?

I am applying for the LPN program for next year (2019-2020) after I finish prereqs this school year. I had my CNA license in a different state and then we moved and took a year off. Should I still get a CNA position just for the year before nursing school begins, if I get in of course? I don't feel like I would be able to go to nursing school, work as a CNA, and manage my kids as well with my husbands very demanding schedule.

Yes, why wouldn't you? People start and leave jobs for all kinds of reasons. And like you said, it's "if" you get in ...you don't even know yet.

It won't reflect poorly on you, at all. Education is a very good reason to cut back on work.
