Whether you can land a job as an RN in the US after passing the NCLEX-RN exam depends on several factors. These factors include your circumstances, your area's job market, and your determination level.

But one thing is for sure- you can't land a job until you get your license. So, first of all, focus on passing the NCLEX.

Here are a few points to consider:

  • NCLEX-RN Exam: Passing the NCLEX-RN exam is a crucial step towards becoming a registered nurse in the US. If you pass the exam, you will have met one of the critical requirements for licensure. Be sure to prepare yourself for the exam by studying. There are several study guides online.
  • State licensure requirements: Each state in the US has its requirements for obtaining a nursing license. Some states may have additional requirements beyond passing the NCLEX-RN exam, such as completing a certain number of clinical hours or additional coursework. You'll need to research the state's specific requirements where you plan to practice.
  • Refresher course: Considering your gap in employment, you may want to take a refresher course after you pass the NCLEX.

Best wishes,
