Should I or Shouldn't I ???

I have only till the end of the day to add a class to my schedule and I have been thinking of adding Intro to Medical Terminology. My current schedule is Wed-British Lit., Thurs-Government, and Fri-Int. Algebra. I feel comfortable with the math and how much time I will need to spend on that subject but I am not to sure about the other two. If they are not that bad I feel I can handle four classes instead of three. Intro to Med. Terminology is not a pre-req for any of the programs I plan on applying to but I thought it would be a good elective. What do you guys think???

if you can knock off another prereq then I would add that in there. Otherwise it wont hurt you to learn medical terminology.

if you have no medical experience then yes if you can squeeze it in, it will help you a great deal just having that basic knowledge. Plus as an added bonus it will get you excited feeling like you are taking "nursing" type class, the other classes might be fun but they are not medical in anyway.

:yeahthat:

It will really help a lot when they're throwing words around that you have never heard of. You will learn suffixes and prefixes and roots and stuff that can help you be able to figure a lot of things out without running to your medical dictionary all the time.

However, I definitely agree that if you've got any prereqs or coreqs that you can get done, those should be first priority unless the course load will just be too much. :uhoh3:

Good luck!!
