I am scheduled to take my board in 19 days. I am still only scoring an average of 50 on all of my Kaplan Q-bank, Trainers and even the sample RN exams. I'm so frustrated , I think some of these questions are so ridiculous ...:,( . I really don't want to reschedule, I just want to get it over with, but I also absolutely dont want to retest. What would you do?? 19 days and I can put in about 5 hours average per day to study!! Do I have a shot??? What would you do?

Are you using other resources besides Kaplan?
I used Saunders, and LaCharity to give me different styles of questions.
50's on Kaplan is not bad, plan your 19 days in a way that you get stronger on your weakness content. Kaplan gives you the % on all 8 categories focus on that.
Wish you the best.

hi jlynn167!
read the what ever material are using again and again and in five days take the question trainer agian than do the same thing
for 5 days do another qtrainer if u see any improvement untill 17 days goo if not reschdule ..but dont toch any new material.and increase your study timining.
Does Saunders have an online bank????? Where would I purchase it?
The Saunders book comes with a CD that contains thousands of questions.
Reading the same material more than once is beneficial to get to understand it. Reading the answer explanations is also beneficial to know the concept behind the question. But doing the same tests over and over again is tricky since you don't know if you are answering correctly out of knowledge or response-memorization.
Exactly...I have redone trainer one and two and got in the high 70's , but I'm thinking it's just because I memorized the right answer
Maybe a silly question but does the saunders CD work in a mac? I have had problems with other CD's not working with MacBooks .
