Hello Everyone! Currently I am semester 2 nursing student at Popular College in Ontario and I started in May 2015. I passed all my term 2 courses except one critical course; this course contains three parts: Lab, Clinical, and theory. I passed the theory portion but did not pass the clinical or lab part. When I found I failed the first time I was mad and devastated because I worked so hard where others in my class didn't and they still passed. So i decided at the end of December to be put on the waiting list to repeat the course with the hope of being successful, Unfortunately that wasn't the case, things started to go bad the day I found where I was being placed for my placement. I was placed on restrictions from my supervisor due a misunderstanding, I was also failing all of my labs even though i went to the lab every week to practice with my tutor. The only part of the course that I was doing well in was the Theory portion. So I got my midterm mark and it was a U=Unsatisfactory, so I emailed my professor to talk to her to see what I could do to improve my mark and pass the course. She set up an appt with my student ad-visor and both of them told me that I am at high risk for becoming Unsuccessful again in the course and that I should withdraw and do the course again for the thrid time ! So I was wondering should I repeat the course again for the thrid time, and deal with my class mates moving on to the next term or go to a new school and transfer the courses that I have already taken to a new school? Please I need some advice
Thanks .

you need to stop and figure out why you are failing. that is the bottom line.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Focus on your own learning experience, not others. Figure out what is causing you difficulty. Since you struggle with labs and clinical, maybe application of knowledge and/or tactile learning is a weak area for you. As morte said you need to figure out the reasons you failed and how to overcome them.
