I already ahve a B.A. in biology/premed. I just don't have the nursing background. It will take me aproximatley one full year to do a ASN program because of my B.A. degree. After that I'm elligible to take the exam, but then do I go to a BSN program or try to get into a BSN program all together???? I'm really confused...

Go for your BSN. With the wave of medicine today and the advanced techniques, you will need your advanced degrees, i.e. BSN, MSN, APN.

I agree. A BSN opens up opportunities in other realms besides hospital nursing. In nursing, the more options and choices you have, the less likely you are to burn out.
