Should I attend a non-accredited school?

I went to NLNAC and CCNE and found out that Houston Community College is not accredited. Additionally, TWU-Houston is not on the list although TWU-Denton is.

Is it true that if I attend one of these schools that I will not be eligible for advanced certification, i.e. N.P.?
