I'm am starting in January & am curious on how much I expect the boosters & titers to be.

Check with you primary care, they can tell you prices. Also if you look at states Bon, some,well here in TX from what I have heard, that they know of places you can go that give nursing students discounts. Hope this helps! You school doesn't offer that ?

Without insurance, titers can be very expensive. Some labs charge $100+ per titer. Back when I needed titers, I was fortunate enough to discover a hospital that was charging $14.50 per titer.
Affordable vaccinations and booster shots can be obtained at your local county public health office.
I have insurance but assumed they wouldn't cover it. I will check with them, my primary & the health department. Thanks!!

Nolan's mom: my insurance covered my titers and shots. I do think that if you walk in and say "I need these for school or a job" then they may not be covered. But otherwise, you're fine.
