"hypertension" is a medical diagnosis.

what did you assess with this patient, and what are your nursing diagnoses? those are the ones for which you are asked to provide goals.

Knowledge deficit?

Hypertension involves medication, diet change, lifestyle changes. You have to be able to teach the patient about the diagnosis.
