Shoes, uniforms, shower after clinical?

Published

Does anyone have advice for what to do after clinical? Lysol shoes, wash uniform, shower and shampoo hair...anything else? I heard not to bring shoes in the house to protect pets, family, etc. What is a recommended routine? Thank you!!!

Ditto!!! AND after coming home from shopping, washing hands immediately. Also, I never put my purse in that seat where Lord only knows how many diapered backsides have been sitting, squirming, etc. I either leave it in the trunk of my car, with my cell phone and debit card and driver's license are in my pockets, or I drop the purse down in the cart and run the seatbelt through my purse strap to keep it from "wandering away" in someone else's custody! Safe from crime AND germs at the same time!

I've done that for years, and taught my kids to do the same. Wind it around a few times for good measure.

I would recommend you don't eat any chocolate until you've washed your hands. That way you're sure it's really chocolate....:grumpy:

I had to laugh when I read this because of a story a friend of told me. He was on a cruise with his wife and had too much to drink one night. The next morning, his wife noticed brown stuff shmeared all over the sheets and accused him of pooping himself. Convinced he was not guilty, he first took a sniff, then a taste (too brave in MHO) and discovered it ACTUALLY WAS CHOCOLATE. The housekeeping staff had left chocolates on the pillow which he had drunkenly wallowed in that night and his body heat melted them. I'm laughing as I write this...OMG!
