Where might be the best place to find scrubs/shoes in southeastern Michigan? The shoes have to be white and are for a male. Thank you very much.

I really like life uniform. They had a pretty good selection of tall/petite scrubs and they did carry plus sizes. They also had wide selection of regular scrubs too. They did have quite a few shoes too (although I didn't peruse their shoe selection; I bought myself white birkenstock "shoes").
I went to the one near my house in Royal Oak, but I think they're pretty much everywhere (southgate, livonia, ann arbor, warren, utica). At the Royal Oak store they were very friendly, had lots of recommendations, and were willing to locate items for me.
I went to a scrubs and beyond, too, before I went to life uniform, but I really liked life better (I think scrubs and beyond are in westland and troy).
There's also a uniform store in Hamtramck that I hear good things about. I think walmart even sells scrubs (although I refuse to shop there as I'm convinced they are an evil empire but that's a story for another day:rolleyes:)
Hope that helped! We're fortunate to live in an area with a fairly large number of stores to chose from. Once you know what sizes and brands you like you can always order online too.
Thank you for the info, there is a Life store not too far from me in Southgate I believe. I should have asked about watches also, any decent one's out there for the health environment?

I ended up ordering a watch w/ a plastic band from www.allheart.com They have scrubs, shoes etc too.
I've ordered some items through allheart.com too. They have very good prices, but I was less than impressed with their customer service department. And their size charts were NOT accurate at all. I would really recommend you go try on scrubs in person. Note the style number, brand, and size you like. Then order them online for a cheaper price if you'd like, or purchase them locally.
Learn from my mistakes...

Also check out Scrubs and Beyond on Warren rd. in Westland. Prices are reasonable as well.

I'm from Lansing area, but I liked the scrub options at www.uniformadvantage.com ...the sizing was pretty accurate for women, and I went with their "Butter Soft" line...and they actually are! Right out of the packge, the scrubs are soft and comfortable, unlike some really scratchy ones I've run across. They have lots of sizing options and lots of color and style options. For my shoes, I went to JCPenney, though the actual style would not be relevant for you of the opposite gender *s*
