This may be a long shot, and I don't know if I'll get any replies, but here goes nothing:
I was at a party with my mom's nursing friends probably about 4-5 years ago, and I remember one of them having a saying of some sort about shock -- when to raise the feet, and when to raise the head. And something about the color red. It was cute, but I don't remember it! I was wondering if anyone here knows what I'm talking about. (We're learning about shock syndromes now in class and it might be helpful)
Otherwise, I'm going to have to remember who said it and go find her on Facebook or something, haha.
Found it, nevermind!
" If the face is red, raise the head; if the face is pale, raise the tail (feet)."

Boy scouts builds first aid into the early ranks so if you progress you kinda get exposed to it.
