Anyone out there anxious for the end June to get here like I am!!! I can't wait to see if I am accepted into SSCC RN program.I turned in my work experience now my application is officially completed. I was a lil disappointed yesterday cause I thought I had 206 points originally it turns out I only have 198 points not even 200 points!! idk how I calculated 8 extra points in!! So NOW I am nervous!!!

So I talked to someone from nursing dept today and was told that they have about 240 applications this year. I was told that some more may be scratched off if they don't meet the minimum GPA requirements. They do not have a cut off of points yet since they haven't started ranking. They are meeting this week to start decision making and we should hear something in about 2 weeks. Just wanted to keep you informed! Happy waiting :sarcastic: lol

I loved micro but I did take it at Lawson after dropping it at Shelton my Lawson State instructor was great as for my Shelton micro instructor NOT so much

No your not it's OK as long as you make a C because we are in the nursing program ( i am claiming it) you have to pass it and your good. She will help you if you need help just ask her you may not understand but she will try to help..lol

I feel a little bit better with only 240 apps in. I'm glad I saw this update because I have been calling them all morning trying to see how many points they calculated for me. I am on pins and needles but I am claiming it also. We got this! And nsm2012 you are gonna do well in Micro. The wait is almost over y'all:up:

So is 240 a low number what is the average number of apps do they get. Did you talk to anyone today

Well they only had 250 last year and people that didn't score as well got in. I'm not sure what the normal number is but the more apps the more competition. I got in touch with her today but she didn't give me anything. She said decisions will be out by the end of the month but she wouldn't tell me my point number.

Average is like 350. So 240 isn't too bad. That gives us better odds. I didn't call I figured they will be hush hush now. I wish that they would offer more information to applicants as far as they selection process and decision times etc. It's so vague. But it could also just be our nerves. Either way lets just wait it out gals! We don't have too much longer..hopefully lol

In other news if we get in..study group anyone?? I need study buddies!! :yes:
