I was wondering do anyone know about the 2 step TB skin test? Where do we get it? what does it costs? Do we pay for it twice?

Hello out there to all the SheltonState nursing students who just got accepted to start SSCC nursing program Fall 2015 whether it is The LPN or RN congratulations!! I know personslly it is a huge accomplishment and is the start if my life long dreams coming true !!! But this is not what this thread is about...lol..I am so excited to embark on this journey with you guys however I have a few questions about shots, nursing uuniforms, cpr classes etc, so I figured we could share what we do know about pre-orientation requirements on this thread to help out so we all can be best prepared for orientation as we can because my best friend who is in the program already keeps reminding me that " First Impressions are EVERYTHING"!! So let's get off to a great start !!

Yes I am as well!! Do anyone know of we would have to pay twice for the TB skin test since they will be doing the test twice because its a two step TB

You haven't gotten a letter yet??? Maybe you need to call Monday everyone I know waiting on an acceptance or rejection letter has received one.. Call Monday

Congratulations RNhopeful2015!!! I feel it is a stepping stone in the right direction!! The RN program is 5 semesters and to bridge from LPN its a total of 6 semesters (3 in the actual LPN program then you guys apply in Oct the following year after yal graduate then you will have 3 more semesters once your accepted..I have a friend who just did that) but in the end we all will be nurses congratulations everyone I am sooooooo excited !! One of my good friends got accepted into the LPN their orientation is the same day ours is just in a different room so maybe we all can still meet weather we got into the RN or the LPN program!!! Just a thought !!!

Yes I noticed!! I turned in my acceptance letter yesterday and I asked her about it she said that Wednesday must be a typo but the date July 7th is the correct date í ½í¸Š although it's on a Tuesday orientation is July 7th.
