SHARP 2024 Summer Residency

I didn't see any posts for this upcoming cohort, so I wanted to start one 🙂 

Has anyone gotten back to any of you about your applications or is it still too early? I saw interviews are April/May

Specializes in Apheresis, LTC.

I also emailed them and this is what they said back

Finished a neuroscience interview at Grossmont. They said it could take time to find out, stay aware of emails for next steps,  and that if we don't get our first choice interview we may have opportunities to interview with other units. It was very fast paced! Wishing everyone luck.

I interviewed as well. It sounds like that unit started early with interviews!

Does anyone know if SHARP accept large cohort sizes? 
I just ask because when I applied to UCSD they were only accepting 28 new graduates total? Makes me very anxious LOL.

I believe in the webinar they said it was a 6:1 ratio of applicants to jobs. seems like the best odds I've seen. I also applied to UCSD

I still have yet to hear back and I applied for Sharp Memorial... my application is now specified to night shifts but is still under consideration. Do y'all think I will get a phone call sometime this week? Starting to lose hope ugh!!

I applied for Sharp memorial but have not heard back any. This waiting time is not easy.

I haven't heard back either I applied to Grossmont, my application still says under consideration but doesn't specify a unit or shift like others have mentioned. I hate waiting and this is mad discouraging.

I have a couple classmates who have gotten calls for interviews (one was for the OR). I know it can be discouraging as time goes by but this is definitely a lengthy process. Unit hiring managers will move at different speeds. With interviews being conducted through May some units may take a couple more weeks to reach out. Hang in there everyone!

I wouldn't be discouraged. It sounds like only one specific unit at Grossmont decided to start so early!
