I was contacted yesterday via email for Sharp Memorial SICU/MICU for an interview in March

Hey socalnurse17, I postponed my interview to march 1st instead of February 22nd cus I'm taking my NCLEX soon so I haven't been interviewed yet! The manager was kind enough to give me a later interview date.

Sorry for the late response. I had my interview last week. The interviewers were super friendly. Just be yourself. You can google common nursing interview questions to prepare.

Does anyone know if Memorial or Grossmont is still sending out interviews? I got an email saying the week of February 19 was the last week, but I read some of you guys saying you got an email about March 3rd being the last week.

I spoked with one of the recruiters and also got an email from Sharp Memorial that they are still reviewing and going through the selection process and we will be notified on or before March 30th. So there is still hope! Good luck to everyone still impatiently waiting for a call or email like me!

Got ANOTHER email from Sharp memorial now saying we will be notified on or before the week of March 30.

Friend interviewed today at Sharp Grossmont ED (last day of interviews) and got the job offer same day. I interviewed in Grossmont MICU and am waiting to hear back. Pretty sure if you applied to those depts. they are done scheduling interviews. Sharp grossmont only had 4 positions open this round, not sure about the MICU

May want to look at El Centro regional medical center if you are desperate. They will hire anyone.

I interviewed at Grossmont ED on Wednesday- it seemed like it went pretty well. Was your friend previously a tech in the ED or working elsewhere within the hospital? They said they would notify people next week. It's worrisome for the rest of us (and great for your friend!) when people are being offered jobs on the spot...
