Graduated June 2016 with a Bachelor's in Health Science Administration and Management. Decent/Average stats and letters of recommendations for the program. 5 years of management experience in a variety of settings: retail, non-profit, and health. I have about 1 year of clinical experience, and 1 year of working in an assited living facility.

Looking forward to hearing more about the rest of the people applying for this cohort!

Specializes in Med-Surg.
That's true, but SFSU is practically the only school I can get into. They don't have an "expiration date" on prereqs so my undergrad grades would still count. All but 3 of my classes are older than 5 years, so it kind of eliminates me from other schools.

Thank you for the reply!

SFSU does have a 7-year recency requirement for their pre-requisite science courses. From what I've been told, they just instituted that policy this past year. As a result, I now have to re-take General Chemistry. You may want to look into that.

Yeah, I just saw the change. If I could have, I would've applied for 2018. I also have to retake gen chem, which will be a drag since it was my major. To top it off, I tutored both my sister and girlfriend while they took their chem classes, haha. If I had known, I would've taken it with them. Thanks for the heads up, best of luck to you
